About the facility Cedar Creek
Cedar Creek welcomes up to 58 residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia to a beautifully landscaped memory care community. Residents and their families can have peace of mind knowing the community rests near multiple local hospitals in Los Gatos, California.
At Cedar Creek, residents receive round-the-clock care, assistance, and supervision in a secure living environment. Cedar Creek’s professional caregivers monitor residents and provide personalized care with services ranging from assistance with activities of daily living to medication management. For an additional charge, caregivers also offer one-on-one care services. The caregivers are specially trained to monitor residents and notice any different behavior. Besides trained staff members, the community provides visits from physicians and podiatrists, as well as in-house dental exams.
In addition to on-site care, residents live in a semi-private or private bedroom with immediate access to dementia-friendly amenities and activities. Residents can maintain physical well-being thanks to nutritious meals and a hydration station. Plus, the community strives to meet emotional and mental health needs through social opportunities and recreational activities. Common pastimes include trivia sessions, nature walks, gardening opportunities, brain games, pet therapy, music therapy, and more.
