Our home was the first in the State of Maryland to be patterned after the Green House.<br> <br> We envisioned a home where elders and others enjoy excellent quality of life and quality of care; where they, their families, and the staff engage in meaningful relationships built on equality, empowerment, and mutual respect; where people want to live and work; and where all are protected, sustained, and nurtured without regard to the ability to pay.<br> <br> There are no shift changes or weekend staff at Catherine's House. This creates stability, trust and the ability to have as much knowledge possible about our residents specialized needs. Our full service program minimizes the need to relocate residents as requirements change.<br></b>
