Stay away
Do your loved one justice & stay away from here. It's not a good facility anymore, very poorly run for price of care. lack of care & staff. The staff seems unhappy to be there & put out to have to help any residents, lack patience

Perfect small place for your loved ones
My father has recently been admitted to Brookdale Dublin Memory care. I have visited him every day. The caregivers are friendly and helpful. I have already gotten to know most of them by name. The food is also very good and my father enjoys it. He was able to adjust quickly to the facility and now calls it home. I have also been in contact with the nurse, and other staff, who answered my questions promptly.

Caring and kind
They provide excellent care in this facility, more so than other facilities my mom has lived. The staff are kind and attentive and you can tell they really care about the residents there. It’s a smaller facility too, which I believe makes it easier for the staff to be attentive to the residents.

Staff is wonderful
This is the second time my husband has been a patient at Brookdale Dublin. The first time they did such a good job that they put 40 pounds on him and grabbed him back from a psychotic break – – she was able to come home for two years. This time he needs a different kind of care as the dementia progresses. Again their care andtheir knowledge of what someone with dementia needs to feel safe has him functioning and participating again. I can’t thank Brookdale enough for improving both of our lives.

Everytime I come to visit my mom she seems happy. Surrounded by caring staff She is well fed and is always busy. She watches TV, plays games, listens to music and on nice days relaxes in the court yard.

It's small and quaint. It's quiet. The staff are friendly. The two cooks are wonderful and make delicious food. When we went to tour the facility, the cook made a homemade apple pie for us to take home. Just as a Thank You for stopping by. Because it is small, they don't have a lot of in house amenities but for my dad, it was just right.

The food was wonderful but my husband had dementia and didn't last more than 4 hours there. He got aggressive and they sent him to Doylestown Hospital. We had to find a different place and it was difficult to get our money back. We finally got a check for two thirds of the initial amount.

Review for Brookdale Dublin
We loved your beautiful home! We loved all the employees. We are so very thankful for the help dad received! My mom was really weary and Brookdale was a blessing. Loved the gal who came to sing and play the guitar! Loved your cook!! She made delicious meals and seemed very caring!! •Concern: dad was sent to the hospital within a week of his arrival because he became combative. We told the administrative staff this could be a problem. Never did they say they would send him via ambulance to a hospital. It would have been nice to know that is your policy. We were out of town. Mom had many unexpected bills (ambulance, hospital, drugs) due to this. •Dad was often wet and cold when my mom came to visit him. This is understandable to happen occasionally but it happened more often than not. Maybe Brookdale was understaffed?? •It seemed dad, along with other patients were thirsty and often hungry, so we brought snacks along. Maybe snack time would be nice. Thank you again for your service! My sweet dad is in heaven now.

A gem in Bucks County, PA
My wife and I were researching elder care for her sister who was suffering from dementia. We visited 6 locations each had their plusses. We had narrowed our choice to 2 locations and chose Brookdale Dublin due to: 1. Care offered specific to my sister in-law’s needs and small enough for personal care 2. Brookdale stood out by [name removed] l was our initial contact and we were impressed with her understanding and ability to help us with all of our questions as we have never been through this process before. She was thorough and followed up This made our movement of my sister in-law less traumatic 3. We worked with [name removed], the director, as well He was warm and always had time for us. He also has promptly prepared insurance paperwork. The insurance company commented the thoroughness of his timely paperwork submitted Unfortunately, he has moved on to another job 4. [name removed] was very patient with the difficult process of getting my sister in-law into the home. 5. The staff is very attentive and promptly reacts to needs 6. Finally, the dining services manager [name removed] is a prize to this facility My first experience was the apple pie she gave us on our initial visit. It was delicious ! Her meals follow that as well. Unfortunately my sister in law passed away in January

My dad is very happy here…
My dad has been residing at Brookdale for 2 months. He has a spacious private room with a his own bathroom. All staff is friendly and meets my dad’s needs. It’s quaint, not a large facility so it’s not chaotic; very calm and quiet atmosphere.

We picked this community, because it was a small more intimate setting with only 26 residents. It was mid-way between siblings, they allow dogs to visit and would accept a small dog for an extra monthly charge although we have not taken advantage of that, we were impressed by the facility, and staff on visiting.

Would not recommend if loved one is a little violent due to their dementia
It was not the experience we were expecting for our loved one, it was really bad and they could not handle our loved ones care. They refused to take our loved one back and we quickly had to think of an alternative thing to do.

Absolutely Amazing!
Moving a loved one to a care facility is always difficult and finding the right place can be a challenge. From the moment we entered Brookdale Dublin, we found it to be warm and welcoming and we knew our loved one would receive exceptional care. [name removed] went above and beyond to get our aunt admitted and the entire staff was amazing from day one. We truly believed she was getting the best possible care and felt everyone at the facility treated her, as well as all the other patients, with dignity and respect.

They deserve a 10/10
I would rate Brookdale higher than a 5 if I could, they are amazing. When you walk into the facility it is very clean and there is no odor. The staff took very good care of my husband and are very consciousness. They all interchange - if they are short handed everyone pitches in to help out. They always have things going on such as arts and crafts, music, painting, and also special things like watching footballs games or movies. the food is excellent. The meals are very balanced and nutritious. When there is a covid outbreak they are very good at being proactive and keeping the residents safe. It is a small community and they only have 12 residents. I always thought the bigger the better, but that is not the case. The nursing care has been excellent and everyone truly cares. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Dublin to other families looking. I feel very blessed to have been able to get him in here, it is a very well organized group.

Brookdale Dublin Experience
Our experience with Brookdale Dublin was not bad. It is a smaller facility that focuses on memory care. They did a good job and worked with our loved one. The prices sky-rocketed though and we were nervous our loved one was going to run out of money which is why we could not stay,

  • Tour the location. Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and it helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

A Place for Mom has scored Brookdale Dublin 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.   We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies.
