This facility was impressive like a first-class hotel. Great lobby, sizable rooms and desirable location. Drawback for me was it was overall too large for the type of experience which would be comfortable for my parents.

Review for Brookdale Creve Coeur
I'm very disappointed in the cleaning of this facility. The carpets are always dirty and have bits of trash on them. The carpets also have many nasty stains and what looks like white paint on them in lots of places and a lot of it.
The staff is usually friendly but not always. The activities are so-so, sometimes good and often not that great.
The food is often pretty good but sometimes awful with no good choices.

Would recommend
Cost increases exceed inflation by 4-5% per year. Cleaning of rooms is not thorough. Response to maintenance requests are usually slow. Infrastructure showing its age. However overall still as good as most places. In a good location.

Best Senior Living Community
Brookdale Creve Coeur is 10/10! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are always smiling and pleasant, and just look like they LOVE their job! The residents are constantly saying hello and full of joy! If you are looking for a great senior living community, Brookdale is just that!

WHEN MY SON SUGGESTED THAT MY WIFE AND I MOVE TO A SENIOR LIVING FACILITY WE WERE APPRESENSIVE ABOUT MOVING. WE WERE LIVING VERY COMFORTABLY IN A CONDO. MY SON AND I VISITED FIVE SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES AND FOUND THE THE HALLMARK, NOW BROOKDALE, HAD THE WARMEST AMBIENCE. THE PEOPLE AND STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. WE MOVED HERE IN 2014 AND HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED AND HAPPY. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND REMEMBER YOU NAME AFTER YOU'VE BEEN HERE TWO DAYS. AMAZING! THE RESIDENTS ARE VERY WARM, FRIENDLY AND ACCEPTING OF NEW RESIDENTS. THERE ARE MANY ORGANIZED ACTIVITIESAS WELL AS RESIDENT ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BRIDGE, POKER, MAH JONG AND MORE. IT'S EASY TO BECOME INTEGRATED INTO THE RESIDENT POPULATION AND FEEL VERY MUCH AT HOME HERE. THE FOOD IS WELL PREPARED AND THE MENU VARIED. I'VE BEEN EARING DINNER IN THE DINING ROOM FOR 10 YEARS AN STILL LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT MEAL THERE. I COULD NOT EAT AT ANY RESTURANT FOR 10 YEARS AND NOT BECOME BOARED WITH THE FOOD

The Best Senior Living in St. Louis. -There is just something about it!
I have been going to Brookdale of Creve Couer for over 10 years. I visit friends who live there, take my son’s class to visit and volunteer, and visit clients I work with as well. I can’t say enough about this community. It is special, unique, and stands out as the friendliest community in town. Knowing some of the staff and seeing the same faces throughout the years gives a sense of family and community, not to mention these individuals are so happy and willing to help. This kind of longevity and the familiar faces I see, speaks volumes about the community and the company and their dedication to providing great senior living.
The residents are delightful. I always am greeted by residents outside or inside and often see activities that are enjoyed by many. The rooms are lovely and the layouts are nice. I speak to families and residents who are happy and feel at home. The Assisted Living is a great option for those needing more care, and the team is attentive and caring.

Brookdale Creve Coeur is RESORT STYLE LIVING!
Brookdale Creve Coeur offers the finest independent living and also assisted living. My mother was in Independent living and she described it like living at a resort. She felt very well taken care of. She made friends easily and quickly and enjoyed the camaraderie that they all shared. They have plenty of activities so they have something to appeal to all. From activities taking place inside the building to wonderful and varied field trips to great locations around the St. Louis area. The Saturday evening entertainment is always a fun and uplifting experience with a variety of music to entertain the residents. The food is amazing! There are lots of choices for dinner; there is always something offered that is appealing. The brunch buffets are varied and full of wonderful and different options. The apartments are very adequate with nice floorplans. The staff is also highly caring and effective and work hard to care for all residents. I highly recommend Brookdale of Creve Coeur.

Amazing
I have a relative in this the independent living and visit quite often. Everyone is very friendly from the moment you walk in and the building is very well-kept. My aunt participates in a variety of activities and especially enjoys the happy hour. She is very happy here and I would highly recommend to anyone looking.

My father was placed at Brookdale and the services far exceeded our expectations. I recently had to make a decision to place my father in law in an assisted living and wouldn’t consider moving him to any other facility, as Brookdale is our 1st choice.

Do not recommend to others
They do not do at all what they say that they are going to do. My loved one was here and I visited everyday and each time I had to go find someone and tell them to do what they had told me they would do on the day we signed up with them. They did not check on him, they rolled their eyes when I asked for them to bathe him. The only nice person was the activities director - she was great. Other than that the other staff would just sit in their chairs and they did not wear masks either. We ended up hiring hospice just so he could get the care he needed that Brookdale was not providing. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them to others looking.

Brookdale Creve Coeur
We have been very happy with Brookdale and would recommend it for those seeking independent senior care. Good experience with staff and efforts to please. My mother in law likes the food and activities. The facility is well maintained, apartment has a nice view of pond and fountain and in a good neighborhood close to her son. Apartment was repainted, etc., and hung tv and pictures for her. Only complaint is loud noises come through adjacent walls from other apartments.

My loved one has lives here for 2 years now and truly loves it! She even had a short stay in a different community and is much happier at Brookdale Creve Coeur. They have a great variety of activities, she is always busy! The staff are always friendly when we comes to visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking into senior living!

The place is pretty, the staff is nice. It is certainly financially attractive. It is about half the cost of a couple other places. It is competitive in cost with many that are doing the same. Many other places are double.
