My mom has been at Brandywine Reflections for one year. She has been well taken care of ones the year. The staff is pleasant and caring. The facility is very well taken care of.

It is adjacent to a 18-hole golf course and minutes away from several more of the area’s finest golf courses. For easy meals out, a variety of eateries are nearby. Top grades all around this place. My family loves this place for our Dad. All of the staff (admin, aides, nursing staff, activity staff, kitchen, maintenance) are great and work together to create a great living atmosphere. The activities are plentiful and varied - something for everyone. The facility is designed well and always clean and maintained. The aides and nursing staff are always on top of the individual's needs and always close by. Would highly recommend.

Run do not send your loved one here
This place is not what it seems. They proclaim to be assisted living / dementia oriented. Families put their loved ones here in initial stages of dementia and then they progress . It should not be conisidered assisted living therefore your loved ones do not get the attention/services/or basic needs met especially safety . Due to non supervision which they will say we can’t provided one on one the patients but let’s call them resident fall all the time. They are understaffed and there is no aids with dementia training . When you do see them they are just standing around with no engagement and night time is even worse . Stay away from this place. They should be ashamed for the dollars they suck people into. Wanna know mortifying a daughter said to me they asked me if I wanted her to have physical therapy to walk again after a fall and she declined saying I would rather her be in a wheel chair then fall again with injuries more serious to make her bed ridden and she know has a one on one she hired. Omg!!! No stars here

My mom has friends and a life & I can sleep well!
My mom has had dementia for about 5 years. I took care of her for the last 4 1/2 years. She had made me promise her years ago that she does not want to go into a "home" and I was crushed when I just couldn't keep my promise. My health was failing, my children were frustrated and I couldn't be a grandmother because I was too exhausted. I found Brandywine through a friend. She had told me how wonderful the staff was to her mother. My first visit, I was greeted by [name removed]. I was so upset and she really helped me see a different perspective. A real perspective of what life could be like for me and especially my mom. I did drag my feet for a while and about 11 months ago moved my mom into Brandywine Colts Neck! I should have done it sooner. My mom is happy, engaged, dancing, singing and eating well. The staff are so kind. [Name removed] still checks in with me. One of the nurses ([name removed]) is so special. My mom has friends and I have made friends with some of the other family members who visit often. My mom is safe and taken care of and more importantly happy. I finally sleep well at night. This is my first review that I have ever written. I thought it was important to tell people.

Not much for activities.
My parents were here for a while. They kept dad locked up, and there were no activities. The goal was to keep my parents together, in spite of different levels of care being needed, but this just didn't work.

My Dad lived here for a little over a...
My Dad lived here for a little over a year. Before that he was living at home and it was a very difficult decision to make, but the staff here made things so much easier. The executive director and nursing director are the 2 most caring individuals you could ever wish to meet. They treated my Dad as if he were their Dad. He was very happy the time that he spent here. The facility is very pleasant and the staff as well. If we had it to do over again we would have chosen the same place.

Not a good fit
My loved one was only there for a short time. The supervision was not good. The doors are heavy. It’s almost like you’re in an apartment. I don’t think they did a good job on the assessment. I’d give them a zero on the finance. It was friendly, clean – a nice community. But the rooms are too secluded.

This one was gorgeous. It was a beautiful community, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was my favorite out of all the places we toured. Unfortunately it was a bit too far for it to be a viable option for us.
