Beautiful facility that exceeded our already high expectations
Everyone is so friendly...the facility is spotlessly clean...the venue outside is beautiful...and the billing is super transparent.
My mom had a choice if 3 sizes and she took a mid-size 1 bedroom. Perfect size...so livable! The mantises are a highlight...they always have activities going on...they have a hairdresser on site...great dining room and food! And I am a very picky person!!!!

The tour was most enjoyable.
We were shown a property in the Villas.
We were delighted with the property size - perfect for us.
The location is very convenient for us as we have friends who live close by.
Having access to the main Bayshore Apartments Building, Pool and Water View make it a very good choice to retire too.

Villa Experience at Bayshore
We moved to the Bayshore Villas two months ago. Our expectations have been exceeded on many fronts with an excellent and responsive staff. We have availed ourselves of the many activities and social functions which are ideal on many fronts.. Our living quarters of roughly 2100 sq. feet all on one level represent a wonderful alternative to home ownership. The bonus for us is, as we age, the availability of resources at Bayshore to meet any unexpected needs is nice to have.

Bayshore is just gorgeous, looks like an upscale hotel or resort. Beautiful facilities, full services, larger apartments. Has an overall upbeat vibe to it. Staff and residents were friendly and smiling. Wow.

Very Caring Staff
Without notice, I recently had to see my doctor. I called the doctor’s office and they said I could come right away. I went to see the concierge, explained the situation to her and she then contacted transportation. Within minutes I was on my way to the doctor’s office. This is a fine example of the care we receive from the able staff at the Bayshore.

When I moved to The Bayshore, my goal was to live independently with the security of knowing assisted living is always available if my health status were to change. But I also wanted a carefree lifestyle where great amenities are everywhere, a cordial and helpful staff, and services like restaurant quality meals and housekeeping are included. My life at The Bayshore not only meets those goals but far exceeds them!
Activities abound in the beautiful surroundings indoors and outside! My very well appointed apartment with its carefully designed kitchen and bathroom is perfect for me! All the kitchen appliances are full sized. With the many safety features of the bathroom, I can bathe with confidence.
Located on the banks of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway with a view of passing boats and Pinckney Island on the other side, this means there's always spectacular scenery looking out windows of the building. Since Pinckney Island is a Federal park, I know the trees and wildlife will be our only neighbors across the Waterway for as long as I reside here.
Right after I moved in, restrictions from the US Centers for Disease Control and South Carolina DHEC went into effect protecting me and other residents from the spread of the pandemic. In short, I'm very glad I was
able to become a member of this community!

Would recommend this community
Our loved currently lives on the Independent side, so they doesn't need the care services that are provided. Right now they are doing a small amount of activities due to COVID. They have started taking the residents on a couple trips to go sight seeing and go walking on the beach, however even before COVID they really didn't offer to many activities. Our loved one is not 100% thrilled with the food they serve at Bayshore. Currently the food is being delivered to their apartments, but they have now opened up the dining room for the residents to eat their meals there once a week, The community, apartments, and grounds are very beautiful, i would give it five out of five stars,

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food! Various levels of assisted living services available as needed. Beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway and Bayshore has a boat for resident sunset cruises.

Great decision for us
We have had a very positive experience at the Bayshore. Dad has lived here for about a year. The facility is new construction on the shore of Skull Creek with beautiful views, a boat dock, and lovely outdoor spaces. It is extremely well decorated, more like an upscale hotel but also very cozy and comfortable. It is more expensive than other facilities but not overpriced for what it is. Dad has been able to live independently but the entire facility is licensed for assisted living. The staff is professional, friendly, and quite competent. All in all, we have no negative comments — even the food is good!

This community is beautiful and well built. The staff is in most cases outstanding. As a start – up community it is most outstanding. There are naturally things to be worked out to complete the service offered, but it takes time to get everything up and running.
