Balfour Cherrywood is amazing. I thought I was taking care of [removed name] at home but I had no clue how much better her care was at Balfour. Balfour Cherrywood Village, located in Louisville, Colorado, is a senior living community. We pride ourselves in providing unique care for our residents, whether they require independent, assisted or living care living situations. We provide respite care, establishing a structure environment for our guests. Our assisted living program allows patients to live independently in some ways, but gives them the option of requesting care. Balfour's dementia and memory care program is ideal for residents who are experiencing Alzheimer's and may require additional care. Awesome!
I was greeted at the door. Every staff person I walked by made eye contact and said Hello. I was told that PT had been there to visit Dad and what they said about his strength. Facility is very clean does not smell. Care givers are very knowledgeable about each persons needs.

A great place for mom
Balfour Cherrywood has done a wonderful job caring for my parents. Dad passed away a few years ago and they have the knowledge and skill to help my mother through that transition. They are very caring and loving as mom goes through the.process of dementia

Experience and care
My Mom has now been at Balfour Cherrywood for eight months and the care, companionship, meals and support goes above and beyond everything we had hoped for. I just love all of the caregivers and staff and they always make me feel welcome when I come to visit my Mom. The Room and bathroom are always clean. I’ve had a few complaints but they are always rectified immediately. High five to [name removed] who greets me with a smile when I come over.
Meals are phenomenal and I would like to eat here everyday. A cake was made for my Mom for her birthday[date removed] and although I didn’t taste it, staff and residents seemed to love it. Thank you. I think that made my Moms day.
I have no complaints and know she has great care when I’m not there. Thank you everyone. You’re the best. [name removed] ([name removed]) daughter.

My mom is very happy at Balfour Cherrywood Village
Balfour Cherrywood Village has let my mom get back a high quality of life, and she loves it there. She gets treated with respect, and the staff all work to make sure every resident there is individually cared for according to their unique needs and preferences.
They've got tons of activities to participate in if my mom feels up for it, from games to keep her actively thinking and exercising to weekly painting classes and frequent live music performances. She's made lots of friends with both residents and staff members. It's been an invaluable community for me and my mom to be a part of while she has Alzheimer's. She's safe, well cared for, and she's a lot happier than I remember her being for many years before she moved there. She's not scared or stressed out anymore, and she can structure her day as she likes and enjoy life.
The staff are all well trained. There's a wide range of residents there, from the beginnings of memory trouble through residents that need lots of help, so she will be able to stay there with a room she knows and staff that know her hopefully for a long time yet to come.
I visited a lot of different memory care units between Boulder and Denver, and BCWV wasn't the cheapest, but it was the place where I thought she would fit the best and live her best life. She's grateful to be there, and tells me so often.

My mom is really happy here.
My mom loves it here. She really hated the idea of having to move to memory care after it became clear she could not live on her own, but, now that's she's settled in, she loves it at Balfour Cherrywood Village. She tells me about how much she enjoys the activities, exercise, painting class, and especially how delicious the food is. She's somewhere where she and I both feel she is safe and well cared for, and that peace of mind is invaluable.
The staff at Balfour are awesome and helpful and they really help you feel like it's a big community working together to maintain a good quality of life for people who need help.
Balfour lets me mom be as independent as she wants, and they try to cater to each individual's tastes and preferences. The staff usually know my mom by name, and my mom doesn't have any complaints beyond constantly misplacing her TV remote.

So happy with Balfour Cherrywood Village!
We recently admitted my mom to Balfour Cherrywood Village after her dementia made it impossible for her to continue to live safely by herself. Everyone at Balfour, and especially [name removed], went above and beyond to get my mom placed and comfortable. [Name removed] has been such a support for us as we're navigating this new world.
I sat in with my mom yesterday for trivia and when I suggested we leave early to go out to lunch, she refused! Mom enjoys the activities and although she isn't sure why she is there, my family and I are confident and comfortable that she is in the right place and is being well cared for.

Balfour Cherrywood Village is the perfect home for my parents
My parents, both in their 80s and with Alzheimer’s/dementia, are residents of Balfour Cherrywood Village. They have lived there very happily for over one year. There room is bright and spacious and always neat and clean. The staff is outstanding. From the front desk to the activity leaders to the care team my parents are treated with respect and kindness. They love their home and their Balfour Cherrywood Village community.

I feel my mother is very safe there. she enjoys the activities so that's a big part of our comfort level. She has Alzheimer's so she's declining but I feel she is very safe here.

Wonderful community and a great match.
This is a very structured environment, this works best for our loved one. They go and round people up for activities to encourage participation. The pricing is quite competitive and it's all inclusive, there aren't a lot of added charges. I felt very disconnected from the community at first, but they took that feedback and instituted a meet and greet and put in place a support group. They take very good care of the residents but not necessarily the family. The continuum of care is good and the majority of the population are at the same place she is physically and mentally, so it was a good match.

Warm welcome for Mom
Mom has been there less than a week but already feels comfortable and at home. The staff made the transition easy and gave her a warm welcome. I think she will be content there.
