Aravilla has all you would hope for and expect in a caring and efficiently run facility. The staff are are helpful and quickly get to know the newbie. I would definitely recommend Aravilla to anyone who is looking for peace of mind and a happy and well thought out place for a loved one.

Do your research....
Staff here is aloof and inattentive. Make sure you visit multiple times throughout the day to see how residents sit alone, unattended. Don't fall for the glorious tours... after you sign on the dotted line the attitude of the staff takes a hard 180. You've been warned.

Wonderful
My father receives great care from the staff. He really appreciates them and loves the facility. We sheltered there for the hurricane. You wouldn’t even know there was a storm outside unless you looked out the window. They took care of the extra guests and staff families that stayed during the storm with meals and entertainment. Power was not lost during the storm, but it was nice to know the facility has building generators.

The right choice
The staff have been very good, sometimes they are limited in their response but it is understandable. They are always courteous, respectful, and asking if they can be of some help. The food tends to be very good and it is presented well and is served restaurant style. Everything is wonderful, it is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. They do have some good activities provided, but I do think they could have some more intellectual activities that could be a little more challenging for those who are able to do those types of things. My cousin has yet to integrate himself in those yet, so things may change once he finds things he likes to do. He has a number of medical issues and the attention that he gets is pretty good, they check on him often. If your loved one has any medical concerns, they will be very attentive. Overall I think my cousin is pleased with the experience.

Top Notch Care for My Parents
My parents have been living in Aravilla Independent Assisted Living for about 9 months now. Aravilla helped us move them in quickly, and has helped them become comfortable. My folks can't stop talking about how good the food is, and how much better they eat than they used to. My husband and I had lunch with them there a few days ago, and it was very nice -- scallops, sweet potatoes, spinach, and salad with pound cake and berries for dessert. My folks also walked us all around to show us the various sitting and walking areas, where my dad plays pool and works out, and introduced us to the friends they had made. They had not expected to be living there, but they are content to be there now. They really love all the live music that comes in to entertain them, and appreciate how the staff take care of them.

Excellent Facility
My Dad moved into Aravilla Assisted Living community in 2020, after selling his condo. We had checked out many other facilities prior, and both agreed Aravilla was our favorite. The marketing director was so helpful and supportive through the entire transition. Moving during the pandemic was scary and unsettling, but dad settled in and felt right at home in no time. The staff has been so helpful and supportive through his various health issues. I can always speak to the nurses, if he needs help. My dad enjoys the live music, delicious food (the chef is accommodating with his occasional requests), and staff. A beautiful, well maintained, safe facility. Thankfully covid-free, the staff works hard to keep the residents safe. We love Aravilla!

Very well run, unparalleled
My In-laws have been at Aravilla for a year and a half. They have had multiple medical issues, technical issues, memory issues etc and the staff and administrators have taken care of them like they were part of their own family. We are always able to reach someone when something happens. Having 24 hour on site management makes all the difference.

The Best Move We Made
My husband and I moved here 2yrs ago we were down and out and unable to do the daily chores that was needed. My husband wasn't well and at the time we didn't know what was wrong. We found out that he had bladder cancer.
Our friend remembered we had a long term policy. In no time at all he had gotten us an interview with a tast of the food. It was the selling point.
He gets the help he needs, I recieve the help I need. The care given here is more than 5 stars.

Wonderful facility with great admin staff!
This last year we had to put our mother into assisted living. I spent weeks visiting facilities in the area. I was less then pleased. I had pretty much given up when I came across Aravilla. [Name removed] (Director) took the time to give me a full tour and answer my long list of questions. The very day I visited I put a deposit on a room. Mom has been there a little over six months and is quite happy. Thank You to the wonderful staff who made this life changing living arrangement a joyous one!

It's Like a Cruise Ship on the Land
My family members say it's like a cruise ship on the land. Whenever they get older and need to go into independent living, they would want to go into Aravilla. One of the big factors of the resident rooms is a spacious walk-in closet, which was a must-have for our loved one. The staff is very great at communicating, and everyone I've had a chance to talk to has been fantastic. Our loved one is gaining some weight, so the food must be good if she's actually eating it! The activities calendar looks great. They do weekly field trips, and they go to a garden about once a month, which my loved one really enjoys.
