My dad has been living at the lodges of Idlewild for about 3 months now. So far the experience has been very very positive. [name removed], [name removed]Introduced my father to Angles when we were looking for the best assistant living center for him. They were welcoming sensitive to him leaving his home. Everyone has open arms all the time. [name removed], [name removed]and all of the other staff have been helpful, friendly, and very cccommodating. I would recommend going and visiting and seeing how the love ones are taken care of. I wish my dad had gone there earlier. They are truly Angels at Angles Senior Living at Lodges of Idlewild.

No Basic Care at The Lodges at Idlewild by Angels Senior Care
The basics are not met in memory care at the Lodges. My mom has gone into the hospital 4 or 5 times due to dehydration and UTI over and over while in the lodges care (or lack of).. They do the bare minimum and most staff do not speak english and all the patients are english speaking so cannot even ask for their basic needs or ask for help. The staff cannot converse with them which is greatly needed in memory care and in general Angels senior care seems more concerned about the money than anything.
I put my mom there as there was a fabulous director and memory director when she was first there but now under [name removed] direction 5 memory directors have quit, there is no basic care of helping patients clean, brush teeth, changing, and absolutely no oversight as to what the staff is doing as it's a closed giant room.
It's currently being investigated and may get better for a while but if it stays under [name removed] direction will surely go back down as he does not care.

NOT GOOD
We had our Aunt there for 8 months. We were promised many things, but it seems the HUGE staff turn over makes consistent care difficult. So disappointed and very traumatizing to have to move her . She is a happy in a new place, but still very upset that Angels never addressed our concerns.

Our family had an in person tour with Angels Senior Living, and it was a nice tour experience but the reason they receive 4/5 stars is because it was much more expensive. Compared to the community we chose for our loved one, the Angels wanted almost [fee removed] more per month.

I toured this community twice, once without my loved one and once with him. The first tour was great, the second one with my loved one not so much. They weren't very accommodating with my loved one as far as his wheelchair needs. He'd just gotten out of the hospital and came to do the tour, they used a broken wheelchair with no footrests for the tour. It was uncomfortable for him.

I only have a couple of issues. First, the after hours communication with the actual site is not good. They have some internal issues with that that they're trying to address, but I don't know that they've resolved those issues yet. I've had to bring it to their attention several times. My other problem is the wi-fi internet connection is not stable in my loved one's room. But those are my only issues, both of them technical. The staff is very friendly and very kind. I've had no problems there. I think the activities are great. And the food looks and smells good.

Very modern and comfortable for guest and resident, very friendly and the care support team is very engaging. They also have on sight physical therapy which is great for residents so they have to travel for it.

Of all 3 places, this was the best one we have had a loved one it. We chose the Lodges because they were the only ones that would take us at the time. They actually prayed over the facility when it was built and the developer had the scripture in mind when he built the place. She was in a shared room, so it was a little tight. Overall, I would absolutely recommend as long you can afford it. The facility itself is very rustic and cabin like, it is on a big piece of land and very beautiful.

The Lodges of Idlewild is an absolutely outstanding Assisted Living Facility. Not only do they provide superior care for their residents, they also provide amazing support for the families. Living out of state, they have kept me informed and made me feel like I was there with my mother when I could not be sending me photos, texts, emails and even phone calls. When I am able to visit I can see the care and compassion exhibited throughout the entire staff. They definitely go the extra mile for the residents and their families. We definitely selected the right place for my mother when we chose The Lodges.

We toured this wonderful community for care . We were very happy with the staff who were will to answer the questions that we had on the care . This community is beautiful and clean and a great atmosphere . We had lunch and we indeed happy with the meal and the variety that is offered . They have alot of nice activities for the residents that can participate to stay active . This is a community that we highly recommend for the care and the value of other families to tour for them selves .

Friendly Staff!!
The staff at this community have all been wonderful to my loved one since she has recently made the move. I am comfortable with the quality of care they are providing her and I like that she feels safe in her new living environment. She has had no complaints about the food and has enjoyed a few of the activities that they provide throughout the week. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.
