He speaks highly of his care givers. #4 My dad doesn't require much so I can only say he's satisfied. He went thru Chemo a few months ago and the staff did well with helping him with his meds. They have always been very professional and interested in Dad well being so I'd give them a 5. #6 The food, according to my dad is good. He is well nourished and has gained the weight he lost back. He is thriving. I would give them a 4. #7 It seems as though many activities are scheduled and offered. My dad is not one for participation so he doesn't attend many of the planned activities. They work it so I'd give them a 4. #8. I think the value of Amber Oaks is very good. Before dad was placed I visited several facilities prior to Amber Oaks. We were trying to stay in a manageable budget and quite frankly many of the other facilities were more expensive and dad would have had to share a room. He has his own space, bathroom and a room with a view he enjoys. For $[removed]. To $[removed] less per month depending on the facility. So in my opinion the value is great.
