It's comforting knowing mom's in a safe environment knowing she's being taken care of.
We are really happy with the place. All staff very friendly. The room is nice. Food is good. Don't really have any negative things to say at this point. Mom is getting used to it there.

Disappointment.
The staff is not great. On phone lots of times, only changing people at scheduled times it seems. Many folks walking around with soiled diapers. The care mirrors the staff. Frequent misses and screw ups of medication, feeding, and small things like hearing aids and glasses. The activities in memory care are pretty much non existent. There is an activity schedule but it's total BS. They sit folks around the TV the entire day. Cleanliness I would say is mostly good. Room size is decent compared to others I've seen. Food is not great, but they seem to have a good variety

My mom absolutely hated Alto but is now at [community removed] and really liked it. Every aspect of [community removed] is so much better. The staff at Alto did not advocate for the residents and it was a nightmare for our family while my mom was there.

I would advise people to use your service. You made it very easy to schedule multiple visits, which is important, look at as many places as you can. Specifically Alto Evergreen, so far we are very happy with it.

Review for Alto Evergreen Walk
I would recommend Alto. On a scale of 1 -5 I would give them a 4. The only reason I wouldn't give them a 5 is because of the food. Everyone complains about the food. I know it's hard with 100 elderly and different pallets and medical needs / restrictions. The food needs to be addressed.

Our family's experience - we would definitely not recommend
The activities are very juvenile. The staff is less than friendly and not helpful. The food is basically horrible and very unhealthy. There is so much salt on everything. All they care about is making money. They do not care about the well being or comfort of their residents. It is despicable how they never advocate for their residents.

They misspelled my father's name on his door. They had inaccurate information on our paperwork (they listed my address in Florida, when I live in New Hampshire). They do not refill his cpap machine, nor do they supply distilled water. They are do not seem to be making sure he is bathing regularly.

Great Place
Staff is great especially in the dining room always anticipating what each resident may want for dinner. The food is pretty good. It took a while but we finally got plans in place to help my mother in law with transportation to meals, help with showers and to activities. There are some staff more caring and attentive to her.

Steer clear do not send your loved ones here
This place is the worst, disgusting, rude and impatient staff. The laundry list of evidence we have with lack of cleaning, showering and the rude staff is insane. There’s no compassion for the elderly people living here that are confused and scared. Lack of empathy and patience. The staff is lazy when we go in a lot of times they’re standing around or sitting doing nothing. No engagement with the people living there and rooms are dirty, people are sitting all day soiled in their clothes. Completely unacceptable. Steer clear of this place!

HarborChase great
I places my family member in HarborChase of Evergreen 6 months ago. The place is pretty new and the ALMC is very open and airy. The private rooms are spacious like a studio apartment. The Care Partners & Nurses (& Director) have staff turnover like other places but they are very compassionate and know their clients very well. They have activities that are geared towards maintaining as much memory as they can. They take them out weekly for rides, lunch, events.
My family member seems very happy. when I bring him back after a day out he always is happy to be back & has to socialize with everyone.
I’ve rated them a 4 out of 5 because there is always room for improvement. However I do highly recommend that you take a tour and consider HarborChase

Misrepresent and act unethically
I work in the industry and HarborChase is one of places I come to see patients. The managers in charge don’t seem to know what’s happening most of the time in their own building. Nursing seems to care but they don’t have enough help. I prefer working in some of the other nearby communities because they run more smoothly and seem to have happier and healthier residents

I would definitely recommend Harbor Chase at Evergreen Walk!
We all as the entire family rate a 5 in all categories! AS hard as it was placing mom somewhere, I leave on my visits knowing she is cared for and genuinely loved by her care givers!! ALL the staff are friendly and kind! The food is very good! Mom says it's terrific! We have instantly become family there!
