No response
I just called on behalf of my mother, who is in their care currently and they failed to get me in contact with any of her nurses. I called to see if they could change her wound, which is supposed to be changed daily and her bedding. They let the phone ring for 25mins after I called back following a failed connection to the nursing station. How is this possible from paid "professionals" who Chose to go into this field. Very sad and should be shameful on their part.

Awful
I wish I had the personal cell phone numbers of the staff, as they spent most of their time at the desk on them! Bells were ringing and patients were literally climbing out of bed, and there was no attention given whatsoever. They actually have carpets in the patient rooms that are filthy (how do you clean years of body fluids from a carpet?) I watched dinner trays come and go and patients not being fed. Lots of mistakes are made, if you go there, or send a loved one, someone needs to be there day and night. That being said, the PT department was great, the front desk people were nice and the activities director [name removed] was awesome.

I would like thank [name removed] and [name removed] for their excellent care towards my father. They were both very professional and compassionate towards him. He started physical therapy very weak and his ability to walk any distance was poor. After ten days he is greatly improved and coming home. Thank you so much [name removed] and [name removed]!!!!

This place is horrible!
Spring Hill is a terrible place to be sent to! They don’t care about their patients, some of whom don’t get dinner because they “forgot” you. When not allowed to go to bathroom on own, you wait an hour sometimes before they assist you. Stay away!!’

Disappointed. Poor experience
AFTER surgery I was in need of physical therapy and the P. T DEPARTMENT was excellent. I highly recommend all the stuff in that department. HOWEVER I received no care or attention from the staff at rehab. You are LEFT to care for yourself plus many other issues. I GIVE THE REHAB A VERY POOR RATING.

Horrible
My husband was admitted 3 days ago after hip surgery for rehab. The nursing staff here is horrible. They do not seem to care at all and if you ask for anything it’s a chore. It takes an hour just to get a response when you ask for something as simple as a blanket. The food which I have also tasted is for the most part inedible. I am having him moved as soon as possible and feel sorry for anyone here without a choice. I picked here because it was really close to home and figured for the 10-15 days for recovery it would work. Not so.

Should be shut down!!!
The patient care and a grossly understaffed is horrendous(sometimes 1 nurse to care for 22 patients as well no.aides on duty causing patients to wait several hours sometimes to address medical issues at the Hamilton, NJ location. The turnover rate is high due to the Administrator's failure to address such issues. The Ombudsman, State Health Dept. should all be called to investigate where fines should be given for violations and their accreditation be taken away.

Do Not Utilize
NEVER, EVER allow a family member that is unable to advocate for themselves to be placed in this facility. It appeared, on numerous occasions, that the facility was understaffed. It was, at times, unclean with a heavy odor of urine. Some of the staff seemed uncaring; including being more interested in their phones than their patients. The facility was, however, VERY CAREFUL at obtaining ACCURATE Medicare and Insurance information. Almost as if billing was more important than patient care. We moved our family member, as quickly as we were able, for fear of a very negative outcome. You cannot give 0 stars which is what we would have chosen.

VERY DISSAPOINTING
Spring Hills is a beautiful place. However, the help is very lazy, cold and has no empathy. I feel sorry for the patients as they are treated very inhumane. My family member was pushing for the nurse/aid to come in so they could go to the bathroom. After sitting in it for one hour and 10 minutes he now has sores. I was there one day and asked for a soda for my family member. One hour later she came in and said she never made it to the kitchen but would get one. I called my daughter and she brought in a bunch of small cans an hour and half after I left and there still was not drink in their room. I understand being busy and all but each time I went out to the desk, coming in, going out, or stopping to ask a question the same girl is sitting there with her head down and into her cell phone. I asked if she worked during the week and she said she only works per diem. So sad and degrading for the patients.
