We couldn’t have been happier with the care provided by Seniors Helping Seniors. While my friend was initially uncomfortable with the thought of strangers coming into his home, it wasn’t long before the high quality of care and genuine kindness changed everything. I interviewed two other agencies who might have been fine, but primarily because of the caregiver demographic, choosing SHS was an easy decision. I’ll always be grateful to [name removed] for her kindness, attention to detail and responsiveness to all of my questions and concerns—the wealth of knowledge and experience she brings to the table is invaluable. As for the caregivers themselves, they were simply wonderful . . . it came to feel more like members of an extended family had stepped up to provide the additional care my friend needed at the time. Seniors Helping Seniors provided the perfect solution to a difficult situation.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Seniors Helping Seniors - San Luis Obispo County, CA

A Place for Mom has scored Seniors Helping Seniors - San Luis Obispo County, CA 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
