Right at Home is an in-home care and assistance agency, providing quality care for senior and disabled persons since 1995. Our Everett office is locally owned and operated had has been in business since 2009. We serve all of Snohomish and parts of North King County. With the support of our corporate office we bring over 18 years of home care experience to the table. In our 1st year of business we have earned the prestigious award for the 3rd fastest growing franchise in all the 200 Right at Homes in the nation.

Our carefully selected caregivers are trained, insured and bonded for a variety of caregiving needs. During the initial interview, we ask the question, "would I allow this caregiver to take care of my mom or dad?" If the answer is yes, we move them into the next step of the hiring process. We drug screen, and do a 7 year background check. In addition, we train our caregivers to know specifically how to meet the needs of each client, for example, if the client is living with Dementia, then we ensure that the caregiver has knowlege of how to...

Definitely would recommend!
5 on all of the above. My husband wasn't there for long, but it was a wonderful facility and staff. Felt so at ease with him there and appreciated all they did. Based on the experience our family had with Right at Home, we would recommend this home care service to other families who may be in need of it.

Frustrating all the way around!
I am no longer using Right at Home nor will I ever use them again. Prior to starting services I was asked for a large deposit which I paid. I also stressed the fact that consistency was key since my husband suffers from dementia and having numerous caregivers would cause nothing but confusion. In 7 days we had had 10 different caregivers, all of which didn't do their job to the best of their ability. I paid for services for both myself and my husband since I was recovering form surgery and needed some assistance as well. It was as if I didn't exist because the caregivers did not assist me at all and were more focused on husbands needs. On one occasion the caregiver failed to leave the walker and wheelchair where it needed to be which caused my husband to have a fall in the middle of the night. On top of that they are still billing me when I am no longer using services and paid a deposit which is more than the invoice. If you're reading this I suggest you not utilize services from this particular agency.

"Right at Home" is the best!
My mother is 94 years old and insists on living alone in her own house and still drives her car around town. She has never wanted any kind of help and really hasn't needed it until lately. Now, with her high blood pressure and progressive memory loss, she has finally decided it's okay for someone to help her a little each day. My wife and I are not professional caregivers and this is the first time we've really had to learn what it's all about. We spent 3 weeks talking to everyone we knew and following whatever leads we had to find out what we could do to help. We talked to mom's Elder care attorney, her financial adviser, her pastor and many of her friends. We interviewed in depth at least 12 other caregiver agencies and several individuals to see what would be best for mom. We quickly decided not to hire a private individual as there was no recourse if something went wrong. Mom needs someone to check her blood pressure every day and make sure she takes her medication. If a private caregiver couldn't make it on any given day, it was dubious if anyone would show up at all. We decided to hire "Right at Home" in Marysville after talking to Victoria and seeing how she treated mom. Victoria is a truly warm and caring person and really knows how to organize. She's very hands on with her caregivers and didn't hesitate to come with them to meet mom and really make sure the right people were there for mom. Mom has needed to go to several appointments and the caregivers as always right on it to make sure everything happens as scheduled. They also take mom to the YMCA every morning at 7:30 AM so she can do her water aerobics. They help her with chores around the house and make sure she has good food ready to eat. Mom was so resistant to getting help at first but now she has come to realize how good it is for her! She likes to be spoiled by the family and now she gets to be spoiled by some new people! It's so comforting to know that mom has help whenever she needs it! The caregivers live very close by and can be called 24 hours a day in an emergency. We recommend to anyone that needs some elderly care in Marysville to contact Victoria at "Right at Home". Talk to other agencies too so you can find out just how good "Right at Home" really is! Another recommendation for those that haven't done it yet. Get an estate plan in place for your elderly loved ones. Not a bad idea at any age really! Also a living trust and don't forget the will. It costs some money but saves all kinds of family and legal problems after you or your loved one passes. We thank Victoria and everyone at "Right at Home" for all their help and care!

Wonderful Caregivers
The two caregivers that we had were fantastic. They made sure my dad ate and got his medicine, made sure he was drinking fluids and doing his exercises. They helped him get up out of his chair and get dressed. One of them assisted in driving to the doctor. He was a very quiet man but he actually started to joke with the girls. Before we started service, Victoria and Susan, the nurse, drove all the way out to Sequim to do an evaluation. They were able to do everything that the rehab could do at home, and made sure that he was discharged on time.

Personable and Caring Owner
I really really enjoyed the owner - very personable and very caring. I also really liked the match that she made for my in-laws with the caregiver. That was really well done.

I had a visit from the director today...
I had a visit from the director today. She is wonderful and very helpful. I really fell that she is looking out for the customers best interest. She explained how the state is regulating home care in a new way. I will start with her on Monday.
