It’s a beautiful facility with a friendly staff and good size apartments, but the food needs improvement. This is a big deal since going to the dining room is such a highlight of the day, and unlike other facilities, there’s no snack station. There are a variety of activities, but they could do a better job communicating them. There is a monthly calendar provided at the beginning of the month and tvs display daily activities. However, the tvs flip through the screens faster then they can be read, and it’s difficult to find an activity calendar mid-month. Overall though, it’s a nice place to live with wonderful residents. The value for cost is is a very subjective question! If everything were always perfect I'd say I'd be happy with the high cost but since it's not possible to be 100% confident 100% of the time that everything is happening like it is supposed to. I know every single facility out there faces the same challenges so I'm not at all unhappy that we chose Pinebrook.
