Recently, toured this facility with my mother, it was a very strong contender. Until the family decided just to step in and stay home with her. But I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for their loved ones. The experience was absolutely amazing from the healthcare to the workers felt extremely comfortable, and they answered every single question I had.

Wonderful place to call home
Blue Water Lodge is truly a wonderful place to call home. From the caring and compassionate staff to the welcoming atmosphere, I have felt comfortable and supported since the day I moved in. The community is always clean, the activities are enjoyable, and there are plenty of opportunities to make friends and stay engaged. What I appreciate most is how everyone here feels like family. The staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel valued and cared for, and it's clear they genuinely love what they do. I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and would highly recommend Blue Water Lodge to anyone looking for a place that feels like home.

I recently had the opportunity to tour Blue Water Lodge Senior Living Community, and I was truly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with residents’ comfort in mind. The community is beautifully maintained, with clean, spacious common areas and well-appointed living spaces. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating an environment that feels both safe and inviting. The staff I met during the tour were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the care they provide. They took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel completely at ease. I was especially impressed by the range of amenities and activities available, which seem to support both social engagement and overall well-being. It really feels like a place where residents can thrive, not just live. Overall, my tour left a very positive impression. I would absolutely recommend Blue Water Lodge to anyone looking for a supportive

Wonderful Atmosphere
The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and supportive. The quality of care is good, but they are often short staffed. There are always activities going on. The dining experience is amazing! It's run like a restaurant. The food is great. The servers are punctual and know most of the residents by name. My mom's apartment has not been cleaned very well. The laundry process needs work too.

I love calling Blue Water Lodge my home!
Living here has truly been a blessing. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and caring, and they make me feel valued every single day. The care is excellent, but just as important is the warmth and respect shown to everyone. The fellow residents are wonderful, and there’s a real sense of community and belonging. This feels like home, and I’m genuinely grateful to be here. ??

Overall, a nice community.
The staff is very kind and responsive. The chef is very good and meals are like a nice dining experience. There are many activities provided to the residents from themed activities to live music from a talented guitarist. We're happy with our decision to move my mom to Bluewater Lodge.

Beautiful community
Toured the community with mom and she instantly felt at home. Moving from a house on the lake she loved that she found an apt with a balcony, only a couple blocks from the water, so that she can listen to the freighters going by. She has already made so many great friends and everyone has made her feel at home.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Blue Water Lodge 9.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.   We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.   Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
