Overall, a nice community.
The staff is very kind and responsive. The chef is very good and meals are like a nice dining experience. There are many activities provided to the residents from themed activities to live music from a talented guitarist. We're happy with our decision to move my mom to Bluewater Lodge.

Very Comfortable
Blue Water Lodge is a very Safe, Beautiful and Welcoming Community. It is Very Clean and Well Kept. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Its definitely a supportive environment for seniors looking to enjoy their retirement to the fullest.

I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars. Toured the community for my mom and everything/everyone was top notch!!!! Stayed after our tour and had lunch and the food was amazing. Every resident and staff member we talked to made mom feel at home. The decision was an easy yes!!! My mom could not be happier.

Amazing staff.
Recently visited and I have to say the staff is very kind and they keep the facility very clean. I visited around lunch time and can say I wish I had some of the food that the resident had. Seen some of the activities and it seemed the residents really enjoyed them. Great place to live for your loved ones.

My Mother Loves It There
My Mother has been staying there now for a short time. She is happy with community and loves the food. Her favorite thing there so far has been Bingo nights and the great musical acts. She is astounded by the the beauty of the local area and enjoys taking walks by the pond and the ducks!

Beautiful community
Toured the community with mom and she instantly felt at home. Moving from a house on the lake she loved that she found an apt with a balcony, only a couple blocks from the water, so that she can listen to the freighters going by. She has already made so many great friends and everyone has made her feel at home.

Wonderful place!
Blue Water Lodge is amazing. They helped our family make a difficult decision when we were looking for mom. They were friendly, honest, and very accommodating. Mom was nervous and worried about moving but the staff made her feel welcomed. She is happier then she has been in months. We are all glad she made the move and we are thankful to the staff and residents.

Outstanding Facility with Great Staff and 24/7 Medical Support
Very friendly and well run. Mom is very comfortable there. Yes highly recommended. Great staff 3 meals a day and has à la cart medical services from outside company that stays at facility 24 hours a day

Great Senior Community!
Blue Water Lodge is a fantastic senior living community. My loved one has recently moved in and has had a great experience as she has settled in. The Blue Water Lodge staff are attentive and extremely helpful. Homecare services are provided by a third party team, Advisacare, in this building. The Adviscare staff have been beyond accommodating. They have made the transition for my loved one so much easier. Making her feel at home and comfortable. This was not an easy move, but now that my loved one is settled in - I am at peace knowing she is being taken care of and loved. I wouldn't think twice about moving into this community!

Amazing accommodations
We moved my mom into BW Holiday last week and we are very excited about her new place. It’s comfortable, friendly and the food is amazing! The staff members are caring and welcoming, along with supportive during the move in process.

Frequent change of personnel. No continuance
Had to submit documents several times! Email fallow up very slow! Some attitude problems from AdvisaCare! Staff not communicating promptly with families!
Need more care staff and more patience with tenants. Admin staff are friendly and helpful. They have good and nutritious food and very good activities - art painting, gardening, bingo and a gym. Musician singing live. Library, movies.
They charge whatever they feel like and adding services without families approval. Had a had time communicating with staff leader!

Review for Holiday Blue Water Lodge
Speaking for the family we totally enjoyed our Aunt [name removed] stay with you.
The facility is beautiful and the staff is so helpful and gracious!
Aunt [name removed] was only with you for a year before her passing ([date removed]) but we know she enjoyed herself and loved having friends who would drop by during the day and gather together for supper , church services and other events.
Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality and care you showed not just my Aunt but all of us as we visited.

Great
People and staff are very nice and my mother feels comfortable there. People love to help the residents in any way possible. Very clean place and kept up and updated for people with Disabilities. My aunt was not getting treated fairly at her senior living Facility so my cousin asked if we liked it and she is coming there Saturday and that way my mom and her sister can live a few doors down and visit and keep one another company.

Great place for Mom
Mom really likes Blue Water Lodge assisted living. Nice accommodations, beautiful views of the lake, nice garden for walks. Apartment is a perfect size. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Meals are good and she has plenty of activities for socializing and entertainment!

We are very happy with everything at Blue Water Lodge and the care from Homestead.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The daily/ weekly activities are wonderful.
My mom likes having the hair salon in the the building.

Wonderful staff
Very accommodating staff. They have made me feel so much better about my Dad's living situation. The whole staff knows him and what his likes/dislikes and habits are. I know I can rely on them to keep me informed and aware of any problems or challenges he's facing in his daily routine. He's not fond of the food and hasn't really engaged in social activities, but seems healthy and in good (for him) spirits when we visit. He even had a family friend from out of town visit and stay a few days in the guest apartment. Let me also add that there is no way we would have found this living arrangement on our own. Huge "thank you" also to A Place for Mom for the help and handholding to find a good fit for my dad as well as the rest of the family

Fabulous Hosts!
I am part of a couple local groups and Blue Water Lodge has so graciously offered their Library and Activity Room space on numerous occasions. There have even been residents that have chosen to join in on these groups! They have built strong relationships with many of the people involved. It has been a friendly, warm environment for us to gather. We are forever thankful for everything they do to accommodate our needs. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you - to all the staff and residents of Blue Water Lodge!
