Overall, the community is nice.
Overall, the community is nice, the employees go out of their way to make you feel at home.
I do not care at all for how the dining room is run. When my mother moved in and went to the dining room for the first time She was sat at a table by herself, which made her feel completely ostracized. She has not been back since and refuses to go back, and eats alone in her apartment every night.

Overall, the community is nice.

I would recommend it to others- staff is friendly and takes good care of my Aunt. They have limited activities but enough to keep her active. They are responsive and helpful. I don't have to worry about her and know she is being cared for.

Great Staff at 5 Star
My Mother has been treated fantastically by the caring Staff, so glad for this place
The physical therapists are really great.
They offer many activities for the residents so there is always something for everyone to enjoy.

Definitely 5-Star Living!!
We love the friendliness of staff. They are very caring and also professional. The one complaint my Mom has consistently is the food. She feels like the food is of a hospital grade. She thinks the she be better for the cost that she's paying to live there.
Other than that, she is very happy at Five Star and loves her apartment!

Based on the experience we have had so far with Five Star Premier we feel they could improve on all areas. To be honest we would not recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones. The place needs to improve especially in the overall quality of care for the residents

Friendly staff
The friendliness of the staff and residents is what really sticks out as well as the facility itself - it is very well kept up.
The apartment sizes are fairly generous compared to others we looked at.

5 for all categories, I love where my mom is at! It was really clean, hallways and interior is all nice. Food is good, staff was all welcoming and nice. I like the on premises nurse, hair place, and activities . My mom goes and she likes it.

My mother used to live at the Five Star Premier.
Now my father needs to go to an assisted living.
While I do not know where is going I do know that Five Star is where he is not going.
They need to improve basic and important areas. The kitchen usually they will bring to my mother what she did not order, you wonder why do they give you a menu to choose from.?
The cleaning of the room, it was hard to tell when they came to clean.
Among other things you need patience to work with the elderly people.That is why they need to hire people that are train or train them.
The tall lady and the young girl at the front desk,
were nice , cordial, helpful and will greet you with a smile..

Extremely disappointed
I was so excited to find a place that was close to my house. I looked at a lot of places and was going to go with another place, but I love how they introduced me at Five Star. The main problem here is the staff - my loved one got yelled at by one of the workers. I reported it and they said they would handle it. This was not the only issue we have had, I went and visited on Monday and then Tuesday and he had on the same clothing both days. He got yelled at again being told this was not a nursing home and that he needed to clean and bathe himself. They have a lot of activities provided, but they do not encourage the residents to participate in them. We have been very frustrated especially because of how much we are paying. Overall we have been completely disappointed in the experience.

Our tour experience
Our family was able to have an in person tour and we were very impressed from the moment we walked in. The way it is decorated is very grand, you can tell that was the look they were going for, Very pleasing to the eye, the apartments were very fresh and clean, but a little to small but it came with a full kitchen so you can make a meal since they only offer 2 meals a day. The tour guide was very nice and informative but we never received any follow up calls which we thought was odd.

Look No Further, This is the One
I would tell others this is a great place. My mom is happy here, and everything has been really really good. We are super happy our choice..
The food is like by my loved one. The residents have a choice of meat, and they have good sides for meals . The food is delivered to the the residents rooms as an option.

They have independent living, 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner which begins at 4pm). Very large units with stove, washer/dryer in the unit.
Price seemed affordable. Of the 4 properties, we found this to be the best so far

No Good
We had to hire a full time aide there because the level of care was terrible. She was falling and having issues. She had a long term care policy that covered it, and initially we liked it because it was clean and there were activities. She didn't do any of them, the food was terrible and care was terrible. It was a bust.

Just after a tour and viewing the facility, we would consider moving him here if he needs to move out of his current place. It was really our first choice, but the price elsewhere helped sway us. You get what you pay for! And Five Star is a lot nicer. There were a lot of small things that we really liked, it is a newer facility, really appears to be much newer. Five Star separates independent and assisted living. The care may be a little bit more consistent with that arrangement based on our experience.
