Care For My Father at Arden Courts
My father was at this Arden Courts for about 4 months. I am so glad we had him here. The caring was so deep that I will always be grateful.
My father can be a difficult guy. He had been baker acted many times and previously kicked out of another memory care. [name removed] told us in the intake, "We [this Arden Courts] specializes in difficult cases. We gave him one. They delivered on their claim.
There is an inherent uncertainty when making this type of decision. What I can tell you in retrospect is that I am very grateful for the Staff, from the highest admin to the caregivers, of Arden Courts. I spent many hours at AC. The level of caring was sincere, positive, and encouraging... for every resident that we saw.
It's a hard decision in a difficult situation.
If I were to have need of a memory care, I would want to be here.
Special thanks to [name removed] for his guidance, availability, and sincere understanding. Additional gratitude for [name removed], the head honcho.

Cozy homelike setting
My son-in-law works at Arden Courts of Sarasota. I have toured the community and must say it is cozy, warm and inviting. I told him that if a community is ever needed to provide care for me, I would not mind living at Arden Courts. It just felt right.

Only positive things to say about Arden Courts
I visit a family member as often as I can. We always sit outside in the gazebo. I am very pleased with the level of care he receives. You feel like part of a larger family. The staff is always kind and attentive. He is happy and well cared for.

Warm and Cozy
I was at Arden Courts with my good friend. His mother is a resident there. I found the community to be very inviting. The building is older, but it is kept up nicely. The staff seemed very friendly. I would have no problem placing my mother there in time of need. Something about the place just seems right.

World Class Care
As an elder law attorney, I have referred many families to this community over the years and all have reported a very positive experience with the caregivers and quality of life provided to their loved ones. Glad we chose Arden Courts
I'm glad I chose Arden Courts for him. Because he was quiet and seemingly content, I think he was overlooked at times. Not mistreated just overlooked. Especially Sunday evenings when AC was extremely understaffed. I happened to be there a couple of times and it was a bit worrisome to watch what was and was not going on. I think the nurses and aides in the wing where he was located might not have been as professional as in the other wings. That was my impression. I walked to the other wings and didn't sense the turmoil I observed in Bill's wing. I didn't want to move him because the day nurses all knew and liked him. He seemed comfortable there!

Highly Recommended
This facility is great. They check on the residents every hour. The food seems ok. I love that the chef in charge of the kitchen has been there for 15+ years. I've seen her often walking around with freshly baked cookies or other treats for the residents. The activities directors are both wonderful. The program is very structured and I think they do a great job. Housekeeping is good, things are always clean and put away. I'm very impressed with the facility director, the tour guide, and the maintenance director. All 3 of them really have it together. When I'm visiting, they often reach out and ask how things are going. They really have their eyes on what's going on. I've seen them there even on holidays, weekends, and after hours. It just feels very genuine here. I'm happy and mom is happy. The only issue I would mention is that they seem to sometimes be understaffed, but I know that's everywhere right now. I did have an issue with a couple of people from outside agencies that they brought in to help with care, but nothing major. I have recommended this facility to others and will in the future. Of all of the places that I've talked to and seen, I would highly recommend them the most.

We toured Arden Courts on [date removed]. I was very impressed with the thoughtful design and planning behind the facility and its programs. I loved the outdoor space and the ability for residents to access it freely. [name removed] was very thorough and provided us with a lot of information. The interior seems well though out and provides residents with opportunities for movement and a comfortable homelike environment.

I would recommend them. I already have told several people about this community. The community is comfortable, and it was perfect for my loved one.
The residents have the ability to go out to the courtyard 24 hours a day. The administrator would go out and play tennis with the residents. They even had a putting green available for the resident to use.

Loving Care
My mother-in-law was a resident at Arden Courts in Sarasota for several years, until she died at age 97. I can't say enough about the care they provided. Her dementia made her very difficult to deal with, but they knew how to keep her happy and occupied. A lot of the staff have been there for a long time and it's apparent that they love the residents.

Dad is in great care here.
This is a great community for my father. He seems to like the outdoors alot. The staff is excellent and the care he is given. A very clean enviroment with nice surroundings. He is happy with the meals they offer him. I would recommend this for others. they offer him activities to enjoy when he likes to participate in.

I was Pleased
My mother was only there about a month before she had a bad fall and had to go to the hospital. While she was there, I was very pleased with them. I liked the set up, and the way they had the little houses set up. As far as her care there, it was fine. I don't think that her falls had anything to do with her care.
